PAKISTAN PARTICIPANTS

Ascend is a holistic after school program for girls ages 15-23 interested in growing her self-esteem, potential and experiences. Ascend focuses on 5 pillars of learning: leadership, fitness & nutrition, mental health, community service, and outdoor adventures (such as rock climbing and hiking).

Girls will experience classroom learning and outdoor activities taught by Ascend's trained and internationally certified local female instructors. Outdoor activities include rock climbing, hiking, camping, mountaineering, and backpacking.

COST & SCHOLARSHIPS

Ascend's program offers world class certified instruction from trained staff. The monthly program cost per girl is 100,000 PKR. However, Ascend offers extensive and full scholarships to local participants who show dedication, commitment and a willingness to complete the full seven-month program.

PARTICIPANT COMMITTMENT

Participants are expected to:

Attend all after school sessions
Attend weekend activities as planned (1 or 2 times a month)
Be on time to all session and inform staff when you will be absent
Provide for own transportation to and from the Ascend House (transportation to outdoor activities will be provided by Ascend)
Come with an open mind and be willing to try new things
